Case Study: Sat Devbir — Website Redesign & Clarity-Led Discoverability Upgrade

The Situation

Sat Devbir is a spiritual teacher and intuitive counselor with a strong following and a real body of work. His previous site was built DIY, and it showed — not because it lacked depth, but because the depth had nowhere to land. The content was meaningful. The structure made it hard to find.

No clear hierarchy. No defined entry points. No primary call to action. Visitors could feel the power of the work but couldn’t orient themselves within it.

The Goal

Make it immediately clear who he is and who his work is for. Establish a direct pathway to work with him. Reduce the cognitive load without losing the substance. And strengthen the site’s discoverability foundations without turning it into a technical project.

We didn’t add more. It was about refining what was already there.

What I Did

Strategic Clarity Work

  • Rewrote homepage opening for immediate orientation

  • Clarified audience and outcomes

  • Repositioned primary offer (Virtual Sessions)

  • Tiered services into clear hierarchy

  • Added strategic FAQs

  • Improved structural clarity for AI and search interpretation

Full Visual Redesign (6 Pages)

  • Rebuilt homepage from scratch

  • Redesigned Services page layout and flow

  • Structured Classes & Events for discoverability

  • Restructured About page for authority positioning

  • Refined Contact page clarity

  • Updated Store presentation

Design changes included:

  • Calmer spacing

  • Improved typography hierarchy

  • Clear section breaks

  • Stronger call-to-action flow

  • Elevated visual coherence

The Result

Before:

Philosophical, deep, unstructured.

After:

Clear, grounded, professional, directional.

The site now communicates his role and audience within seconds, guides visitors toward virtual sessions, feels cohesive from page to page, and reflects the authority of his work visually and structurally.

Strategic Takeaway

Most websites don’t need more content. They need clarity.

AI doesn’t rank energy. It understands structure. Humans feel resonance but need orientation. The best websites speak to both.

Nat is such a talented designer and I have never experienced someone so versed on both the technical side and the creative side. I’ve also never experienced someone pulling the perfect design out of thin air – I literally had zero notes. She was so attuned to me and my work that she nailed it the first time.

I took full advantage of her perfectionism! She walked me through additional ways I could gain more exposure which added so much value. She was truly generous with her advice and talents. It doesn’t get any better. Highly recommend.

If your website feels “off” but you don’t know why

It may not need more design.
It may need clarity, hierarchy, and strategic structure.
